The Ontario Federation of Labour is holding a rally this weekend for those fed up with wages that don't keep up with inflation and paying more for almost everything.
It's holding a Day of Action on Saturday called "Enough is Enough."
Rallies are planned for more than 30 cities across the province, including Windsor.
Demonstrators will protest outside Windsor-Tecumseh MPP Andrew Dowie's office on Tecumseh Road East at noon.
The Windsor and District Labour Council is hosting the event.
A year ago, inflation hit its highest level in four decades. While it slowed in the following months, it headed in the wrong direction in April. Statistics Canada reported inflation last month was 4.4 per cent, up from 4.3 per cent in March. It was the first time in a year that inflation rose.
Canadians paid more than 9 per cent more for groceries in April than a year ago, and gas cost 6.3 per cent more. Applying for a mortgage or renewing one paid 4.9 per cent more as interest rates climbed.
Wages continue to rise in Canada, but not enough to ease the pain for many. In April, the average hourly wages rose 5.2 per cent from a year before to $33.38 an hour.
Rallies are also being held in London, Toronto, and Hamilton.
