Windsor patrol officers were hard at work over the weekend with traffic enforcement and finding impaired drivers.
Police held an enforcement blitz Friday at the intersection of Tecumseh Road East and Howard Avenue. Officers wrote 58 citations for speeding and other traffic infractions.
The blitz is part of an ongoing effort to find poor driving at intersections that are susceptible to crashes.
Officers in Windsor and Amherstburg also set up RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) programs late Friday and early Saturday. Three roadside tests were given, but no arrests were made for impaired driving.
There was one arrest for driving with a suspended licence and one for failure to comply with an undertaking.
