The City of Windsor is conducting prescribed burns in areas around Ojibway Park, Spring Garden Natural Area and Tallgrass Prairie Heritage Park.
During the burns, the area will be closed to the public.
It's recommended nearby residents keep windows closed when there is smoke in the air.
Prescribed burns are used to maintain a healthy and diverse ecosystem in the tallgrass prairie and oak savannah ecosystems.
