City of Windsor mails final 2024 tax bills

The City of Windsor has sent a document to residents and business owners.

The final property tax bills for 2024 have been mailed.

Due dates for regular tax payments are July 17, September 18, and November 13. Payment must be received by the City on or before the dates.

You can make payments through your bank or credit union. If you have your payments set up through a bank account or mortgage, you'll get a notice for your records.

Tax payments may also be made through telephone or online banking, or in person via cheque only at the first-floor dropbox at 350 City Hall Square West.

The City also offers three pre-authorized payment plans, for which enrollment can be completed at any time.

If you are having trouble keeping up with your payments, the City has strongly encouraged you to find lower-cost financing, available through many banks and credit unions. The City also offers a tax relief program, a tax repayment program, and a tax deferral program. Complete details can be found on the City's official website.

If you have not received your final tax bill, or if you have a question about it, call 311 or use the 311 app.
