Police searching for Halloween vandals

Windsor police are looking for two suspects after 43 cars were damaged on Halloween.

On November 1, officers responded to multiple reports of parked vehicles that had been damaged overnight. The calls came from the areas north of the University of Windsor to Riverside Drive West between California Avenue and Cameron Avenue, as well as the areas south of Wyandotte Street to College Avenue, between California Avenue and Wellington Avenue.

The vehicles' damage varied from smashed windows and tail lights to dented doors. Several items were stolen from the vehicles.

The first suspect is described as a Black man, approximately 18-25 years old. At the time of the incident, he wore a red hoodie and black pants.

The second suspect is described as a man, approximately 18-25 years old. At the time of the incident, he wore black and white sneakers, blue jeans, and a grey hoodie.

Anyone in the area with a surveillance system is asked to check their footage from October 30 and 31 for possible evidence.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is urged to contact the Windsor Police Service, Target Base Unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 4350.
