Lakeshore resident charged after family dispute

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Lakeshore have made an arrest after responding to a dispute on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were called at around 3 p.m. to a home in response to a complaint about a family issue.

A 32-year-old is charged with mischief under $5,000, assault, and four counts of assaulting a peace officer with a weapon.

No one was hurt in the incident.

The charges have not been proven in court. The suspect is being held pending a bail hearing in a Windsor court.

Members of the Essex County OPP Crime Unit are assisting the Lakeshore detachment with the investigation.
