Suspect in Windsor stabbing surrenders to police

A suspect in a stabbing last weekend in Windsor has turned himself in to investigators.

Officers were called shortly after midnight on Sunday, February 9, to the Glengarry area and found out that an argument among several people had blown up into a physical fight.

Police learned that the suspect hit the victim, stabbed them multiple times, and then threatened to kill them before fleeing.

The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Windsor police say the 30-year-old man wanted in connection with the incident surrendered at police headquarters on Friday morning.

He is charged with assault, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, uttering death threats, failure to comply with a release order, and failure to comply with a probation order.

The charges have not been proven in court.
