Windsor police say a fourth suspect connected to a series of organized retail thefts has been arrested.
Investigators say that at least five big-box stores were hit by the same group of people, between August 25, 2024, and January 27. The total value of merchandise stolen was $3,377.84.
Officers with the Target Base Unit identified all four suspects involved.
Three of them have already been charged, but police say the fourth suspect, a 36-year-old man, was arrested on Monday morning.
He is charged with three counts of theft under $5,000, committing an indictable offence for a criminal organization, and three counts of failure to comply with a release order.
The charges have not been proven in court.
