College Boreal and St. Clair College have both made the top 50 research colleges list compiled by Research Infosource Inc.
College Boreal is ranked 46 on the list of Canadian colleges, while St. Clair was ranked 49.
The top college in Canada for research was Cégep de Trois-Rivieres, with over $24-million dedicated to research in 2024. Mohawk College and the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology rounded out the top three.
Lambton College in Sarnia came in fifth with more than $11.5-million dedicated to research, and Fanshawe College in London ranked 39 with $3.2-million.
College Boreal dedicated just over $2-million for research in 2024, and St. Clair College earmarked $1.7-million.
