Suspect wanted for vehicle theft

Windsor police are looking to identify a suspect after a car that was left running with the key in the ignition was stolen.

Officers were called to the area of Aylmer Avenue and Tuscarora Avenue on January 30 after the Chevrolet Silverado was reported stolen.

The vehicle was later located, unoccupied, on Assumption Street and returned to its owner.

The Windsor Police Service Auto Theft Unit discovered surveillance images of the suspect and is looking to identify him.

The suspect is described as a man in his mid-30s with a light complexion, shaved head, thick black beard, and a thin build. He has tattoos on his left forearm.
