If you haven't nominated a LaSalle resident yet for a LaSalle Award of Excellence, you have more time.
The Town of LaSalle will accept nominations until February 17 at 4:30 p.m.
"The Awards of Excellence give us the opportunity to recognize members of our community who go above and beyond to represent LaSalle," said Mayor Crystal Meloche. "We are including arts and culture, business and innovation, community and sports categories to ensure that various members of our community are celebrated."
Recipients of the awards will be chosen by a committee of members of the community.
The nomination form is available online and in hard copy form at the LaSalle Civic Centre or the Vollmer Complex.
The awards will be presented at a special celebration event on April 9 at the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing. Tickets for the event will be available in March.
If there are no nominees who meet the criteria for a category, that award will not be presented this year.
