Windsor parents looking for after-school programming or a March Break camp in the city are in luck.
The City of Windsor has spots available in its free after-school program.
Spots are available at the Forest Glade Community Centre, Gino and Liz Marcus Community Complex, Windsor Water World, and temporarily at Holy Name of Mary Church while renovations are underway at the Adie Knox Herman Recreation Complex.
The programs offer recreation-based programming in a safe and inclusive environment. Children who are participating will also receive a daily meal.
Registration is free, but spots are limited. Parents interested in reserving a spot for their child can call the Central Registration and Booking Team at 519-255-1161.
The city is also offering a March Break camp from Monday, March 16, to Friday, March 20. It's also a safe and fun environment where kids, aged four to 13, can take part in games, crafts, sports, and more.
Camps are available at the Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex, Forest Glade Community Centre, Gino and Liz Marcus Community Complex, and the Optimist Community Centre.
Parents can register their child by visiting www.ActiveWindsor.ca or by calling 519-255-1161.
