With the Easter holiday upon us, there are some municipal closures on Friday and Monday.
All town and city halls are closed in observance of Good Friday and Easter Monday. They'll reopen on Tuesday after the holiday.
The 311 Customer Contact Centre will also close on Friday and Monday. To report municipal emergencies outside of business hours, call 519-255-6326.
211 Windsor-Essex will remain open to provide residents with information and referrals to social, community, health, and government services.
There is no residential garbage pickup on Friday. Collection in zones 4A and 4B will be delayed a day. Night commercial, front-end loader, and weekly non-eligible source recycling pickup will not be delayed.
The Public Drop-Off and Household Waste Chemical Waste Depots will be closed on Friday and Monday.
The WFCU Centre will be open on Friday and Sunday for ice rentals and free public skating, but the pool will be closed. Elsewhere in the city, arenas, community centres, and customer care centres will be closed on Friday and Sunday, except for pre-booked events.
The Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre shuts down on Friday and Sunday, but will be open on Saturday and Monday.
Adventure Bay Family Water Park is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Good Friday and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Easter Sunday, and from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Easter Monday.
Windsor Public Library branches are closed on Friday, Sunday, and Monday. On Saturday, the Central, Riverside, and Budimir branches will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Programming at the Homelessness and Housing Help Hub will continue. The facility will remain open all weekend for those experiencing homelessness.
Normally, the Chimczuk Museum is closed on Mondays. It'll be closed on Good Friday as well, and the Maison Francois Baby House is closed all weekend.
Transit Windsor buses will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. They'll operate on a regular schedule on Saturday and Monday. The customer service office at 300 Chatham Street West will be open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Good Friday. It'll be closed on Easter Sunday, but will be open with regular hours on Saturday and Monday.
