As work on the new interchange on E.C. Row Expressway at Banwell Road continues, there will be more road restrictions starting on Monday.
Banwell will shut down as of 7 a.m. on Monday between the E.C. Row and the north entrance to the NextStar Energy Plant. The work should wrap up around 8 p.m.
On Tuesday, Banwell Road will close between Intersection Road and Shields Street between 8 p.m. and Friday, June 26, at 6 p.m.
The City of Windsor says the closures will allow traffic to switch over from the current Banwell Road to the southbound lanes of the new Banwell Road alignment.
The E.C. Row Expressway, Lesperance Road, and Manning Road will remain open.
Detour signs are expected to go up along Manning Road, Lesperance Road, Banwell and County Road 43, Lauzon Parkway, E.C. Row Expressway, County Road 42, and County Road 46.
