Windsor man facing drug charges after colliding with a stop sign in CK

A 19-year-old Windsor man is facing several charges after allegedly driving into a stop sign in Chatham-Kent (CK).

At roughly 9:36 a.m. Tuesday morning, CK police responded to Selton Line and Victoria Road after reports of a collision.

Police report that the driver had collided with a stop sign and then left the scene.

Officers found the vehicle at a home on Selton Line.

The 19-year-old driver has been charged with careless driving, failure to produce an insurance card, and possession of a controlled substance.

He has been released with a future court date.
