Bicycle and speaker box stolen from Chatham electronics store

Chatham-Kent police are investigating after an estimated $550 worth of products were stolen from Electronics Recycler in Chatham.

A speaker box, bicycle, and light bulbs were taken from the location on Keil Drive sometime over the last couple days, said police.

There may be more than one suspect involved in the break-in.

14-foot trailer stolen from Wallaceburg

An open trailer that was primarily used for moving lawn equipment was reported stolen from a residence just outside of Wallaceburg.

Police said the 14-foot trailer was taken sometime between late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

It is valued at $2,000 and has an Ontario licence plate marked M67 431.

Tools stolen out of Chatham shed

Police are looking for the perpetrator who broke into a shed on Primrose Lane and stole an estimated $750 worth of tools.

It happened sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning, police said.

A Rigid power drill and tackle box were taken from the residence.

Chatham woman charged with mischief 

A 28-year-old woman is charged with mischief after allegedly spraypainting over two surveillance cameras mounted outside of an apartment door in Chatham.

Police were notified about the alleged incident on May 5 and arrested the woman Tuesday night.

The accused was later released pending a future court date of May 23, 2019.
