Wrestling Hall of Fame manager Jimmy Hart, also known as "The Mouth of the South", is going to be in Chatham this weekend.
Hart will be signing autographs, meeting fans, and taking photographs at Rockets Sports Cards at 335 Queen Street between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The colourful Mississippi native said parents can share their love for wrestling with their kids and reminisce about the good old days. Hart said it's always nice coming back to Canada where he has so many great memories.
"It's going to be great. I love the wrestling stories the fans have. They tell me a lot of things that I forgot about and it's great. We had so many memories here back in the day," said Hart.
Hart said Wrestlemania One at Madison Square Garden in New York in 1985 has to be his biggest and fondest memory.
"My favourite memory of everything was being part of Wrestlemania One because if Wrestlemania One had not been successful, I wouldn't be talking to you on the phone now. So, that was always special to me," Hart said.
Rockets owner Mike Lucio says it's a big deal to have such a distinguished guest in our community.
Hart managed wrestling stars like Hulk Hogan, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, and The Honky Tonk Man, among others.
