The shooting death of a London teen in a Dundas Street apartment has led to more charges and another arrest.
London police announced on Monday that additional charges have been laid against 19-year-old Jesse Joseph Winstanley in the death of Owen Serieska. The 16-year-old was shot dead in an apartment 580 Dundas St. on Tuesday, April 14. In addition to being charged with manslaughter, Winstanley is now charged with possession of a loaded prohibited firearm and unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm.
Police also announced another arrest in connection with the case. James Dean Simmons, 35, of London is also charged with possession of a loaded prohibited firearm and unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm. He is also charged with failing to comply with a release order and possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
