Upgrades Coming To Therapeutic Riding Association

The Windsor-Essex Therapeutic Riding Association is getting provincial dollars to expand equine-assisted activities and therapies for youth.

Ontario's Minister of Tourism Culture and Sport has announced more than $1-million for 152 non-profit initiatives to help bring positive change to communities across the province over the next three years.

"Through the Ontario Trillium Foundation, we're supporting projects that provide vital programs and services, make differences in people's lives and have positive impacts in communities," says Minister Eleanor McMahon.

Deputy Premier of Ontario Deb Matthews adds, "These organizations do tremendous work in our communities every day, and by investing in their projects, I know we will see positive impacts."

The province is investing $31.6-million in non-profit initiatives through this latest round of funding supporting 474,000 people across the province.
