Caesars Windsor reopens Thursday, but only for invited guests, not the general public.
The casino first announced the limited reopening on September 22. Since then, guests should have received an email inviting them to make a reservation since only 50 guests will be allowed into the building at a time.
The reopening is for the slot machines only. It does not include table games or non-gaming amenities, including restaurants and the hotel. The Colosseum remains closed.
"With an emphasis on our enhanced health and safety protocols, this initial phase of reopening provides an opportunity to recall additional team members and reconnect with our Caesars Rewards customers," said President Kevin Laforet.
The slot machines are spaced-out to provide for physical distancing, and an enhanced cleaning protocol is in place. Hand sanitizing stations are positioned throughout the casino, and plexiglass barriers have been set up.
Guests and workers will have to fill out a health questionnaire before entering the facility, and face masks are mandatory.
All employees will also have to undergo a temperature check before reporting to work.
The casino has been closed since the beginning of the pandemic in March.
