Windsor tattoo shop closes due to positive COVID-19 result

A tattoo shop in Windsor has notified the public and its clients that it will be closed until further notice after a worker tested positive for COVID-19.

On Saturday, Stone the Crow Tattoo Parlour, located on 1109 Tecumseh Road East, announced that it will temporarily close down for sanitation and testing purposes.

In a public Facebook post, the shop owner said all staff will be tested for the virus before reopening. Many people have commended the shop for being transparent about the matter, and have shown support to the owner and artists while they navigate the process.

Meanwhile, Stone the Crow isn't the only business that's recently been exposed to the virus. The Footlocker store in Devonshire Mall, and an A&W restaurant on Dougall Avenue were also added to the COVID-19 exposure list on Saturday.

The full list of possible COVID-19 exposures in Windsor-Essex can be found on the health unit's website.
