Municipalities throughout Windsor-Essex are preparing to bring back recreational programming.
Community programming is set to resume in the Town of Tecumseh. Check out the programs available on the town's dedicated recreation website.
Tecumseh Arena will open for ice rentals starting August 3. Reservations for ice rentals will be based on availability and will be required to follow provincial regulations for indoor rec facilities. Community rooms will be available for rent starting in September.
Starting Tuesday, the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre walking track will be open by appointment and the gymnasium will be available to rent while adhering to capacity restrictions.
Preparations are underway to reopen further amenities in a limited capacity in the next few weeks, including pickleball, shuffleboard, Zoomers, gymnastics, Zumba, youth soccer and basketball, as well as ice rentals and lane swimming.
