Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a Tecumseh man following an operation that uncovered suspected narcotics.
The OPP's Tecumseh detachment executed a search warrant Friday morning at a home on St. Jacques Street. The Lambton County Community OPP Street Crime Unit joined its Essex County counterpart on the operation.
Police seized about $8,500 worth of illicit drugs and arrested a 30-year-old man.
He is charged with three counts of possession of a Schedule I substance with intent to sell, one count of cocaine possession with intent to sell, and one count of possession of a Schedule III substance with intent to sell.
The charges have not been proven in court. The suspect has been released and will have a chance to respond in a Windsor court on September 25.
