Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm warning as well as a tornado watch for both Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
About 3,400 homes and businesses are without power in Windsor and Essex County following the thunderstorms.
1,300 of those are in Kingsville, a thousand are in the Wheatley area, while just 400 are in Windsor. Both Hydro One and Enwin expect to have power restored to all customers by 7.
In Chatham-Kent, Hydro One says over 1,600 customers in the Wheatley-area are without power. No word on when the power will be restored.
