Uncertainty Lingers After NDP Rally

Some are more hopeful than others about the prospect of Ontario's Liberal government changing its mind on the sale of 60% of Hydro One.

A couple hundred people packed the Fogolar Furlan club for an NDP-hosted rally, Wednesday night.

Graham Cooper says, "there's other meetings going on like this all across the province.  So if we can see the same sort of results and rallying of the people of Ontario, then yeah, there's room for optimism."

"I trust the NDP," says Isabell Taylor.  "But I think Kathleen Wynne is going to do exactly as she plans on doing."

David Reeves thinks, "this (rally) is going to make a vast difference.  I think this is the kind of thing that will bring people together to fight the kind of thing that they're doing at Queen's Park."

Provincial NDP Leader Andrea Horwath was joined by local MPPs Percy Hatfield, Lisa Gretzky and Taras Natyshak to answer questions about how to get involved in the fight against the sale.
