Mall vaccination centre set to close

The vaccination centre at Devonshire Mall will close in just under two weeks.

The mass vaccine site has been open since June and has administered over 220,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccines during that time.

To date, over 83.2 per cent of the eligible population have had two doses of the vaccine while only 50.5 per cent of residents over 12 have had three doses.

The clinic is also offering an opportunity for students in Grades 7 through 12 to start or complete other vaccination series for Hepatitis B, Human Papillomavirus (HPV), and/or Meningococcal Disease. Appointments for these vaccines must be booked before April 1.

Current hours are Tuesdays 11:30 a.m. to 6 pm and Wednesdays to Saturdays from 9 am to 3:30 pm.

The vaccine centre will close on Saturday April 2, at 3:30 p.m.
