Windsor police investigate construction site vandalism (VIDEO)

Windsor police hope someone can identify two people caught on video vandalizing two construction sites.

The first incident took place at around 10 p.m. Tuesday, August 1. Two people were seen on surveillance footage unlawfully entering a construction site on Lauzon Road near the WFCU Centre. The suspects were seen wandering around the property and then discharging a fire extinguisher before leaving.

The second was around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday. The same two people were at a construction site on McHugh Street near Darfield Road. They damaged a glass panel with a rock and then returned to the original site on Lauzon Road, where they discharged two more fire extinguishers and spray-painted graffiti on concrete pillars.

The first suspect is described as a White male, 18 to 20-years-old, short, with a slender build and red curly hair.

The second is described as a White female, 18 to 20-years-old, tall, with a slender build and black hair.

Police have released surveillance footage and have asked the public to take a look.

Anyone who knows the suspects or with additional information should call Windsor police's Target Base Unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4350. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a cash reward.
