Ford recalls small SUVs due to gas leaks

Ford Motors has recalled 2,950 small SUVs in Canada due to gas leaks, causing a risk of fires.

Affected vehicles are 2022 and 2023 Bronco Sport SUVs and 2022 Escapes.

According to the Associated Press, almost 43,000 vehicles were recalled in the US for the same issue.

Reports say the gas can leak from fuel injectors onto the hot engine. A tube will be installed to divert the gas from hot surfaces to fix the problem.

Owners will be notified by letter if their vehicle is affected. Alternatively, you can enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on Ford's website.
