Those who haven't toured the HMCS Margaret Brooke at Dieppe Garden have until 5 p.m. on Sunday before the Canadian warship leaves for Toronto.
The ship is docked at Dieppe Gardens this weekend, and there are public tours between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The Canadian Navy is addressing a significant recruitment challenge, and the hope is that by reaching out to Canadians who would not normally see a warship, more will join the forces.
HMCS Margaret Brooke is scheduled to depart Dieppe Gardens on Monday.
The patrol vessel was delivered to the Navy in 2021 and has participated in multinational military exercises in the Arctic, provided humanitarian relief to Newfoundland in the aftermath of Hurricane Fiona, and circumnavigated South America with stops in Antarctica and the Caribbean, where it assisted the U.S. Coast Guard with its efforts combating drug trafficking.
After Toronto, the ship will stop in Kingston and Montreal.
