The City of Windsor is considering changing a number of one-way streets in Wards 3 and 4 to two-way streets.
It's seeking public feedback at a public open house on November 25 at the Caboto Club. The meeting starts at 4 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m.
Comments gathered at the public open house will help the city determine whether to move ahead with studies on the conversions, which are expected to improve liveability and create a safer downtown.
Residents can access a virtual public information centre to learn about the project and provide feedback. The virtual centre will remain online until December 12.
The streets being considered for a one-way to two-way conversion are:
* Janette Avenue between Riverside Drive West to Tecumseh Road West
* Bruce Avenue between Riverside Drive West to Tecumseh Road West
* Dougall Avenue between Wyandotte Street West to Tecumseh Road West
* Victoria Avenue from University Avenue West to Pine Street
* Pelissier Street from Chatham Street West to Erie Street West
* Glengarry Avenue from Riverside Drive East to Cataraqui Street
* Aylmer Avenue from Riverside Drive East to Cataraqui Street
* Pitt Street from Caron Avenue to Goyeau Street
* Chatham Street from Caron Avenue to Goyeau Street
* Lincoln Road from Riverside Drive East to Shepherd Street
* Gladstone Avenue from Riverside Drive East to Shepherd Street
All residents are welcome to the open house. Wards 3 and 4 councillors will be there, along with city staff, to discuss the project and answer questions.
