The Roseland Responder Golf Classic raised $30,000 for local charities this summer.
The Canadian Mental Health Association Windsor-Essex County Branch, the Windsor Firefighters Benefit Fund and law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics each received $10,000.
"This year was a fantastic event. We had 168 players, we had great sponsorship from out title sponsor Rose City Ford and all of our other sponsors that helped out. It's a wonderful event, the turnout is fantastic," said Dave Deluzio, General manager and head golf professional at Roseland Golf Club.
This was the third golf tournament of four to celebrate the "Road to 100" as Roseland Golf Club celebrates 100 years in the community next year.
"Next year is our 100th anniversary and year four of the series and possibly our last one so we look forward to doing a great event again and make it bigger, better, and having everyone out to celebrate," said Deluzio.
Organizers say they are on track to raise $100,000 over the four years.
The final instalment of the four-year golf series will be held on June 12, 2026.
