LaSalle Mayor Crystal Meloche has announced the Town of LaSalle Awards of Excellence, celebrating those who help shape a vibrant and caring community.
The public can now nominate an individual, a team, an artist, a business leader, or a community leader.
Nominations are open, and the form can be completed online or by visiting the LaSalle Civic Centre or the Vollmer Complex for a hard copy of the nomination form. They must be submitted by Monday, February 9.
The awards will be presented during a special ceremony at the LaSalle Event Centre on April 9, and tickets to attend will be available in March.
"The Awards of Excellence give us the opportunity to recognize members of our community who go above and beyond to represent LaSalle," said Mayor Meloche. "We are including the arts and culture, business and innovation, community, and sports categories to ensure that various members of our community are celebrated."
If there are no nominees who meet the criteria for a category, that award will not be presented this year.
