Talks to resume for striking workers at Clear Medical Imaging

There's encouraging news in the labour dispute at Clear Medical Imaging.

Unifor Local 2458 said the two sides will return to the bargaining table on Friday.

The union has asked for a conciliator to help the two sides reach a fair agreement.

The strike at Clear Medical Imaging started on October 25, when negotiations became tense over wage parity with regional standards, benefits, mandatory overtime, and job security.

"Our members are encouraged that Clear Medical Imaging is returning to the bargaining table, but our members will not return to work until they obtain an agreement that reflects their commitment to the quality care they provide in the Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent communities," said Unifor Local 2458 President Ken Durocher.

The local represents 130 members who work as x-ray and ultrasound technicians, clerical workers, and administrative staff at 11 locations.
