Man charged with assault arrested again for breaching bail

A man charged in relation to intimate partner violence has been arrested again for violating his bail conditions.

In August 2024, a 27-year-old was arrested for assault, choking and uttering threats. He was released on bail and bound by a condition that restricted him from leaving his home.

He was arrested again on September 17 for violating his bail conditions. He was released again in mid-October with electronic monitoring.

Earlier this month, bail compliance officers learned the suspect violated his bail conditions again. He was arrested Friday and charged with failure to comply with release orders.

His name is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
